Managing Passwords in the Secure Endpoint Console

The Secure Endpoint Console includes tools that help administrators manage account credentials and device-level security passwords.

If you cannot access the Secure Endpoint Console because you forgot your password, you can reset it directly from the sign-in page.

To reset your password:
  1. Open the Secure Endpoint Console sign-in page.
  2. Select Forgot Password.
  3. Enter your registered email address.
  4. Follow the instructions sent to your email inbox.
After the password reset process is completed, you can sign in using your new credentials.

Password Recommendations

Please use strong passwords that include:
  1. Uppercase and lowercase letters
  2. Numbers
  3. Special characters
For security purposes, avoid reusing passwords across multiple systems or accounts.

Managing Supervisor Passwords

The Secure Endpoint Console also supports management of BIOS or supervisor passwords on supported devices.
Supervisor passwords help protect device firmware settings and prevent unauthorized configuration changes.

To manage a supervisor password:

  1. Go to Device Management.
  2. Select Devices.
  3. Open the target device’s Device Details page.
  4. Access the available device actions.
  5. Select the supervisor password management option.
Depending on the device and policy configuration, administrators may be able to:
  1. Set a new supervisor password
  2. Update an existing password
  3. Remove a supervisor password
Notes
Some actions may require the device to reboot before changes take effect.

Supported Devices

Supervisor password management is supported only on compatible devices and may vary depending on:
  1. Device model
  2. BIOS capabilities
  3. Operating system
  4. Firmware configuration

Important Considerations

Before modifying supervisor passwords, please verify that:
  1. The device is online and communicating with the console
  2. The device supports remote BIOS management
  3. Existing password information is documented securely
Alert
Incorrect password management may prevent future BIOS access.
