Secure Endpoint Console System Requirements

Before deploying or managing devices with the Secure Endpoint Console, please verify that your environment meets the minimum system requirements for supported platforms, browsers, and network connectivity.
Meeting these requirements helps ensure proper console access, agent communication, and feature functionality across your environment.

Supported Operating Systems

The Secure Endpoint Agent supports the following operating systems:

Windows

Supported Windows platforms include:
  1. Windows 11 
  2. Windows 10 
  3. Windows Server 2022 
Alert
Support may vary depending on edition and agent version. 

macOS

Supported macOS versions include:
  1. macOS 14 
  2. macOS 15 
  3. macOS 26

Both Intel-based and Apple Silicon (M-series) devices are supported. 

ChromeOS

Chromebook devices are supported through the Chromebook extension deployment model.

Browser Requirements

For the best console experience, please use the latest version of a modern supported browser, such as:
  1. Google Chrome 
  2. Microsoft Edge 
  3. Mozilla Firefox 
  4. Safari

Using outdated browsers may result in reduced functionality or display issues.

Network Requirements

Devices must be able to communicate with the Absolute Monitoring Center over the internet.
Please verify that:
  1. Firewall rules allow required outbound connections 
  2. Proxy configurations do not block agent communication 
  3. SSL inspection or filtering does not interfere with console connectivity 
You can use the Network Diagnostics Tool to validate communication between managed devices and the Absolute platform.

User Permissions

Certain administrative actions require elevated permissions, including:
  1. Installing the Secure Endpoint Agent 
  2. Managing BIOS or supervisor passwords 
  3. Performing remote remediation actions
